Ball Draw — Mix and Pick without Replacement

Mix two to one hundred labeled balls in a physical chamber. Draw the first balls through its outlet, up to ten without replacement.

Mix, release and collect

Create two to one hundred labeled balls. Real contacts prevent balls from passing through each other or the chamber walls. Chamber-wide airflow agitates the contents; a gate opens after mixing and gravity carries balls through the funnel and tube.

The sensor determines extraction order

The first requested number of balls crossing the outlet sensor becomes the result in that measured order. The gate closes after that count and extracted balls leave the remaining pool. No winning IDs are chosen before mixing. Reset balls returns the full pool while retaining history.

Randomized physical setup

Browser Web Crypto seeds initial velocities and a shuffled assignment of labels to physical starting positions. Fixed-step physics determines extraction, independently of display speed. Physical chambers need statistical validation; this tool is not a certified drawing machine.

Replay, offline and privacy

Replay same run uses the saved setup and seed, without another removal or history entry. A new draw generates new entropy. Reduced motion uses the same simulation. Cached tools work offline. Shares contain settings and active images, not the remaining pool, history or seeds. Earlier shared snapshots remain compatible.

Private until you choose to share

A roll or draw stays on this device. Orbit keeps your settings and a bounded history in browser storage, without an account or automatic entry upload. Download a full .orbit backup from the Wheel workspace to include your tools, or use the visual-tools backup on this page. Clearing browser storage can remove your data.

Create share link explicitly publishes an independent configuration snapshot, including the images that the active tool uses. It does not include history, remaining deck state or an animation in progress. Anyone with the link can run a session-local draw or make an editable copy. Review labels and images before sharing.
