Orbit Product Changelog
A short record of changes that affect how you use Orbit.
v1.4 — Visual randomizers
Dice, Cards, Mystery Boxes, Reels, Plinko, Ball Draw and Marble Race add distinct ways to reveal a random choice. Browser Web Crypto selects results before animation. Visual tools have local workspaces, bounded history, backups, read-only snapshots and presentation; reduced motion and offline operation remain available.
v1.3 — Content and utility expansion
Number Picker, Team Generator, numeric Dice Roller and Yes / No added local settings and history. Templates, practical guides and publisher information help people use and understand Orbit. Advertising remains disabled.
v1.2.1 — Initial motion and navigation
Wheel slowly rotates and horizontal Roulette drifts from page load until the first real spin. They stop smoothly at that spin and do not restart after inactivity. A reload resets this viewing state; reduced motion disables initial movement. Coin remains still until a flip.
Public tool pages include visible help content and metadata. Choosing a local Wheel, Roulette or Coin synchronizes its base route, and browser Back/Forward restores the selected local item, including moves between two wheels on the same route.
v1.2 — Horizontal Roulette
Roulette gained a horizontal strip with bounded recycled cards, image display, weighted custom choices and fullscreen presentation. Existing modes and old shares remain compatible. Optional advertising integration was prepared, but advertising remains disabled.
v1.1 — More modes
Coin Flip and Roulette joined Wheel with mode-aware history, templates, sharing and Make a copy. Initial motion and visibility handling were introduced alongside keyboard, reduced-motion and accessibility work.
v1.0 — The first release
The original release included wheel creation and management, positive entry weights, Web Crypto selection, varied landing positions, images and mass import, local IndexedDB image storage, templates, undo/redo and history. Import/export and .orbit backup/restore keep setups portable. PWA/offline, fullscreen, customization and read-only remote shares round out the tools.
