Vertical reels scroll and stop one after another, revealing a single choice or a small combination.
Start with one reel for a list of options. For a composition, enable two or three reels and give each its own name and entries. Food, Activity and Place could produce Pizza, Walk and Park. These lists stay independent: the first reel does not draw from the second reel’s choices.
Each active column selects one equal-chance entry through Web Crypto. Repeated labels across columns are allowed. The combined result is a set of independent selections, not a promise that the combination is practical; curate the lists for combinations you would actually accept.
Press Run reels. The selection is fixed before any scrolling begins. Neighboring entries provide depth as the strip accelerates and slows, then the columns stop in sequence. The last visible central entry agrees with the selected ID.
Orbit uses reels only as a visual choice mechanism. There are no matching-symbol payouts, credits, currencies, wagers or jackpot patterns. A stopped reel remains a useful result even when the animation is disabled or the browser tab becomes hidden.
Edit text and optional images within each active column. Short labels read best in the compact strip, particularly on a phone. Adding a picture reuses Orbit’s safe raster conversion and compression; text remains available to assistive technology. Save different local tools for different sets of choices.
Copy the joined result after the reveal or consult the local history. Run again for new independent choices. Space and Enter work outside interactive controls, and F can open presentation. Reduced motion presents the results directly without scroll blur or long movement.
A roll or draw stays on this device. Orbit keeps your settings and a bounded history in browser storage, without an account or automatic entry upload. Download a full .orbit backup from the Wheel workspace to include your tools, or use the visual-tools backup on this page. Clearing browser storage can remove your data.
Create share link explicitly publishes an independent configuration snapshot, including the images that the active tool uses. It does not include history, remaining deck state or an animation in progress. Anyone with the link can run a session-local draw or make an editable copy. Review labels and images before sharing.
Is this a casino service? No. Random Reels is a free selection utility without financial rewards. Can I share a combination? Share publishes the active reel definitions so a recipient can generate their own combination. It omits your history and inactive columns. After the service worker activates, local reels also work offline.
